About the IBCC

The IBCC is a small business advocacy group that was formed as part of an international effort to establish consistent standards in the development of websites. Until the formulation of the IBCC, there was no formal advocacy group charged with the task of assuring standards in the development of the Web. As a result of the IBCC’s efforts, small businesses can be assured that IBCC Certified Web Providers have vowed to follow the Guidelines for Effective Websites, agree to develop their sites in accordance with the regulations set forth in the Internet Building Codes, and uphold the high standards of the IBCC.
